Manufacturing matched to your requirements.

Forged parts combine high load capacity with material-efficient series production. We align material, grain flow, machining allowances, heat treatment and precision machining with the component's final function.

01

Manufacturing capabilities

  • Die forging (0.2–8 kg) and ring rolling (0.2–30 kg), more than 20,000 t annual capacity
  • Integrated heat treatment (annealing, hardening, induction hardening)
  • Blanks, pre-machined and ready-to-install parts
  • Precision machining to drawing
02

Materials

  • Structural and quenched-and-tempered steels
  • Other forgeable steel grades subject to technical review
03

Typical applications

  • Highly loaded machine and drive components
  • Components for the bearing and automotive industries
  • Levers, forks, flanges and connecting parts
  • Safety-critical structural components

01

Assess component

We assess the function, load and material of your component and define the required machining allowances.

02

Design blank

Geometry, tooling concept and heat treatment are matched to your component, not to a standard routine.

03

Sample

The blank and machining process are inspected and approved for series production.

04

Deliver series

You receive a machined, inspected and documented component.

A fast route to technical assessment.

When is a forged part economical?+

Typically for recurring requirements and mechanically loaded components where material properties and reduced machining justify the tooling effort.

Can ATOR also supply fully machined forged parts?+

Yes. Machining, heat treatment, surface finish, inspection and documentation can be combined into a ready-to-install scope of supply.

Can existing forged parts be supplied as a second source?+

Yes. Existing drawings, samples, material requirements and approval documents are reviewed for technical transfer.
